(Summary)

The plot, which was obtained at the turn of the last century, is occupied by the second generation of the original family; who takes pride in looking after the old house and its garden. Despite of their hard work they were dissatisfied with the result, and decided to call for the help of a professional, landscape architect.

After careful consideration of the family's work, likes and preferences, a new garden plan was drawn up, the restoration of the original garden plan. After the completion of the half-a-year construction work, the garden gives the impression of a well established, well-loved, family garden. Indeed the family's love of garden, plants, family and work itself was the main inspiration for planners, designer and builders alike.
